The ammonia comment was in response to someone who said something with organic foods having ecoli? the foods that corporations produce have ecoli because the cattle is kept in disgusting conditions. I was trying to prove my point that swtiching to organic is better than cattle with ecoli & cleased with ammonia.

Actually ,what you do as a whole is demand more healthy foods and as a individual you purchase organic foods at supermarkets. Mighty corporations cannot completely turn a blind eye to the public. We are the consumers, if there is more demand then they will have to produce more healthy foodMaking the food cheaper and more accessible.

Because of lack of space, I’ll focus on one aspect.
Three government interventions are clearly called out, but somehow are not discussed in the context of reforms.
1. subsidies to corn industry (pays to overproduce, distorts prices of meat, skews towards unhealthy food, makes it hard to compete locally and internationally)
2. patent laws (give Monsanto leverage against farmers saving seeds)
3. libel laws for food industry (mutes much of the criticism against them)
