New Year, New Life? The Recipe For True Motivation
The approach of the New Year is for many of us a reason for a resolution to change something in our lives. If you look in a women’s or health magazine, or in the adverts in the media or on the web, there are resolutions everywhere: improve your image, lose weight, improve your diet, stop smoking, go to the gym, start a new hobby, learn a new language, etc.
But if we want to keep our resolutions, we need to make them smartly.
A very important factor is ‘why’ we decide to make that resolution. The ‘why’ determines the motivation; it is what will enable us to keep going even when the going gets tough. But ‘why’ has also to be inserted in the right frame in order to be effective.
If we make a resolution because everybody else does, or if we make a resolution because we have to, the chances are that we are not really motivated to keep it. And if we do not keep it, and maybe we are experiencing a moment of low self-esteem, the chances are that we beat ourselves up for that, and that will not do us any favours.
So, in order to make a sound resolution, it has to be first of all our choice, and it is also very important how and why we decide to make that choice.
So, let’s roll up our sleeves and start working! Have you made your resolutions yet? Why have you decided to make these particular changes? Have you chosen to make them for yourself or are you pleasing someone else? Do you think that if you are pleasing someone else, you will be able to follow through with your resolution?
If you have chosen to make the resolution for yourself, how have you chosen it? Let’s consider, for example, a new hobby. Have you decided to start a new hobby, because everybody else does? Or have you chosen it because it is in your life plan?
If you decide to do something because other people are doing it, do you think you will have the long-term motivation to follow it through?
The truth is that if we want real motivation for something, it has to be part of the overall vision of our ideal life, of our perfect life, of the life that would make you truly happy and fulfilled.
Clarity actually counts for 80% of success.
So, what do you want? If you don’t know what you want, you need to get clarity on the true desires of your heart, because if you know what you want, you can create it. So, what would your ideal life be? Do you have a mental picture of your ideal life? If you don’t have it, create it and imagine you’re looking at it, and what you would have in all the different areas of your life – spiritual, emotional, mental, physical, relational, financial? Now, if you have that mental picture, what you need to do is to simply modify your present life to create that picture.
And furthermore, if you know what your ideal life would look like, and you know the changes you need to make in order to create it, when you decide to make those changes, how strong do you think your motivation is going to be? What do you think you will feel, knowing that the changes you are going to make will create the life of your dreams? Do you think you will be motivated enough to follow through?
This is working smartly.
So, the recipe for true motivation is:
decide what you want in your life, get clarity on your ideal life, see it, and create a mental picture of what you would see, how you would feel, what you would hear; see yourself living your ideal life, as if your ideal life is already happening NOW, and decide to make the changes necessary to create that picture.
You can do it; in fact you can create anything you truly want.
Choose your destiny!

Evercleanse and Quick and Healthy Broccoli Recipe
When you are tired after a long day of toiling at the office, often the last thing you want to do is slave in front of a stove for dinner. It explains why millions of Americans let somebody else do the cooking for them despite how bad it may be for them. I am going to pass along a couple quick and healthy recipe with Evercleanse that will make dinner a breeze and great deal healthier.
Personally, I believe coming up with a tasty side dish is more difficult than making a delicious entrée. Through experimentation I came up with this quick healthy recipe. All you are going to need is some broccoli spears, lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of butter (or acceptable substitute), and some parmesan cheese and a dash of Evercleanse . The broccoli does not need to be fresh, just grab a bag from your local supermarket freezer and you are good to go. Depending on how many you are cooking for, pour out about 4 or 5 spears per person into a bowl filled half way up with hot water. The goal is to thaw the broccoli and not cook it. After the broccoli is thaw pour out the water, leaving the spears in the bowl.
A medium size skillet should be large enough to half at least 4 portions of spears, so go ahead place that on burner. Add ½ a cup of water, ½ a cup of lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon of butter to the skillet. You do not have use a whole tablespoon if you would like to make the side dish even healthier. Stir the contents of the skillets until they are mixed well together, bring the contents to boil and then reduce the heat. After the heat has been reduced add your broccoli. The goal is to steam cook the broccoli so it absorbs the lemon butter flavor. It should only take about 5 to 6 minutes to cook.
After the broccoli is done cooking remove it from the skillet and sprinkle a packet of Evercleanse put in a bowl or on a plate, it really does not matter. Open your can parmesan cheese and lightly coat the top of the broccoli to add a little more taste. The cheese can be option if you like, but the dish does taste better with a very light coating of cheese.
I hope next time you are tired after you try this instead ordering out. I suggest trying this recipe with blackened chicken breast with rosemary and olive oil. It is the small steps you take toward healthy living that make the most difference. Don Blinko

Creating Your Personal Acid Reflux Recipe Book
Acid reflux is a reality for many, and there are many reasons why it might happen. Though stress can be a problem, often the foods and drinks that people choose are the biggest triggers. Things like alcohol, soda, spicy foods, fatty foods, and come citrus can bring on a world of pain for some. Some who have GERD like to put together an acid reflux recipe book to keep track of the foods that don’t bother them. Having such a book will make it easier for anyone with this condition to eat the right foods more often.
Before you begin compiling recipes, you should think about how you are going to store them. You print can them out or write them down, but you may not be able to keep track of them that way. That means you probably aren’t going to use them because you can’t find them. A simple three ring binder is always a great idea, or you can use a box with index cards. These will keep all of your acid reflux recipes in one place.
When it comes to recipes, you might want to consider laminating the pages. This is extra work and an extra expense, but regular paper gets ruined very easily when in the kitchen. Laminating will help keep your recipes safe from grease, and they can be wiped off easily if something were to spill.
Finding recipes might be a matter of trial and error, but the there are tons to be found online. A simple search can dig up hundreds. You have to decide what you think sounds good. You can print them out and put them in your binder, or you can write them out on your index cards.
You should start with things that you know you would like, and then slowly add new things you would like to try. GERD sufferers should make sure their recipes are well balanced with proteins and carbs, and should be low fat most of the time. Keep that in mind as your browse online. Don’t forget that you can also find great recipes by asking your doctor for recommendations.
You can also find recipes by tweaking some of your favorite recipes that give you problems. You can also write them from scratch if you pay attention to what you can eat, and what is known to give you problems.
Things you should avoid would be citrus fruits, milk products (if you suffer from lactose intolerance), spicy foods, many sweets, fatty meats (buy lean cuts), and many forms of white potato. Though taking the hot spices out of foods might sound like it makes for a bland diet, there are plenty of great herbs and seasonings that won’t aggravate acid reflux.
It might take you a while to come up with your own collection, but if you add a few new ones a week, your acid reflux recipe book will grow rather quickly. Though some of the foods that should be avoided bother many, they may not bother you. That is what will make your recipe book unique. If you don’t have problems with spicy foods, then by all means include them.
There are no hard and fast rules for all people who have GERD. Even more important than what you eat is how you eat. Remember to eat smaller and more frequent meals, and keep servings small so your meals are not sitting in your stomach. That might be one of the biggest things to avoid.

Moms: Start a Recipe Blog to Make Money at Home
Around the world, people everywhere are discovering that blogging is a great way to make money online. The reason? Blogs can usually be set up at a low cost and started with a minimum of experience. Two very popular tools for blogging are Google Blogger (blogger.com) or the easy to use Wordpress (Wordpress.org). Both make it easy to set up a blog. But what kind of blog should you start?
A recipe blog can be the perfect choice for people who have tried recipes and thought they could do something different, more exciting, or just plain better. It’s a great way to tell others about new recipes, ideas, and products available in the world of cooking, as well as sharing regional specialties. But, don’t worry if you can’t cook. You can write a cooking blog for others who are learning to cook. How much fun would it be to share your successes as well as your “hope you don’t chip a tooth” muffins? Starting a recipe blog can be a wonderful way to share your interest and make money in the process. If cooking is your passion (or even if it isn’t) — a recipe blog may be a profitable way to get a taste of online business.
If you’re questioning whether or not you have the skills needed to create a recipe blog, you probably aren’t giving yourself enough credit. You love to eat, right? Well, that’s one skill down. Can you write a recipe that’s easy to follow and accurate? There you go! You don’t have to be a trained chef or know all the fancy cooking terms, just enjoy what you do. You will probably want to have a digital camera so you can include pictures of the recipes you make, but it’s not necessary. You’ll find sites where you can download pictures that will suit you just fine. Most importantly, you’ll need to have patience. Your blog won’t get noticed as fast as you’d like, but before you know it you’ll be chatted-up all over the blogosphere.
Of course, you want to make money with your recipe blog. By using one or more of the following methods, you’ll have a real home-based business that will start producing income for you and your family.
Make Money by Selling Products: Some people enjoy the retail aspect of their business. Whether it’s kitchen gadgets or cookbooks, your readers will love to hear what your favorite kitchen tools are. You’ll be sharing your love for cooking, giving your opinion on products, and making money at the same time. Great idea.
Make Money by Selling Advertising: Popular blogs that have a substantial amount of website traffic can earn income through advertising. Of course you can’t sell advertising until your blog actually has readers, but many bloggers earn a great income with this method alone.
Make Money by Selling Your Blog: When your blog starts being noticed by search engines, you have become a successful blogger, for sure! Now you can consider selling your blogs to other people to turn your blog into a money-maker. There are others who create blogs just to sell them to others, which is another idea to think about.
By focusing your energy on your own unique style of blog, you can find a home for family recipes, regional dishes, cooking disasters and fun stories that your readers will come back to time and time again. Sharing your knowledge of cooking, your recipes, your successes and failures, all can bring in a nice income if you are ready to learn how. But, you’ve got to take that first step in order to see your dreams come true.
